Gary Jansen is the executive editor of Loyola Press and a former executive editor at Penguin Random House, where he edited and published books by New York Times bestselling authors such as Deepak Chopra, Kimberly Snyder, Michael Singer, Greg Kincaid, and Pope Benedict XVI. He conceived the New York Times bestselling children’s book Dear Pope Francis, which has sold more than 100,000 copies in the U.S. and has been translated into 19 languages across 32 countries.

Gary Jansen is also the author of several bestselling books, including the memoir Holy Ghosts: Or, How a (Not So) Good Catholic Boy Became a Believer in Things That Go Bump in the Night, The Healing Power of Praying the Rosary, Meditations at Midnight: Poetry & Prose, Saints, Angels & Demons: An A-Z Guide to the Holy and the Damned, The 15-Minute Prayer Solution, Station to Station, and the multi-award-winning MicroShifts: Transforming Your Life One Step at a Time. He is a 2024 Poetry & Writers grant recipient.
