In early 2025, I brought a long-held vision to life. Ever since I began working on my book of poetry and prose, Meditations at Midnight, I had imagined many of the poems as part of a song cycle. As a longtime musician and guitarist, I set out to bring that vision into the world—crafting musical ideas for several of the pieces and eventually turning to AI to create rich, layered arrangements I had only once envisioned in my imagination.

The results still surprise me in the best possible way—though I always had a feeling this could work. I could hear melodies in these lines from the very beginning. Meditations at Midnight: The Raw Album is a 21st-century experiment—my way of exploring how something as old as poetry can evolve with the help of AI.

Can an artistic work bridge mediums? That was the question I asked myself. The answer is this album, now streaming on Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes, and other platforms.
